We just bought one of these for an Xmas present for my son. It came UPS today and now I'm having second thoughts. It seems much smaller than the bag he uses now. The space is used differently in that there are so many pouches and compartments. I'm not sure my son wants to be that organized. I mean, it seems like a lot of work for every piece of gear to have its place. What do all you catchers think of this bag? Does anyone know the best way to store everything in this beast?

My son used this bag for a couple years until it was stolen last summer.

You say it is SMALLER than the one he was using? Did you get the intermediate size?

My son's teammates always joked about how big the bag was. He liked all the compartments, and it could carry a lot of stuff.

The drawback he did not like was the size of the roller base. The wheelbase is very narrow, and when the bag is loaded, the side pouches hang well outside the wheelbase, and this makes it very unstable to roll - it kept falling over sideways.

So he always ended up just packing the thing.

I just yesterday bought him a different bag for Christmas - I bought the Easton Javy Wheeled Bag which was about half the price. I haven't actually seen this bag, but the specs show that its wheelbase is wider than the NoE2.
Not to knock E2 equipment but in the effort to be a good mom I ordered my son the E2 catchers bag for Christimas last year. Apparently it's not cool to have those huge logos all over the bag. We returned it and from now on Dad buys all the bb equipment. When I'm feeling mean I wear the "NO E2" hat that he won't wear. It looked like a good bag to me!
I used the no e2 catchers bag the year it came out. I hated how heavy the bag was. Every practice I had to carry that thing back and forth. The new one that just came out with the monster wheels is a better choice than the one with in-line wheels. You cannot roll a bag on grass with in-line wheels and it's too heavy to carry everywhere. I would find a bag without inline wheels that measures about 32" x 15" x 12". Believe me the wheels might look like they would help you, but they really just get in the way.
My son received one (the Intermediate). There is PLENTY of room...I mean there are compartments we haven't even discovered yet. It is a great catcher's bag, HOWEVER...the "in-line" wheels stink!! The wheel base is too narrow and the bag tips over all the time. That is very, very frustrating for my son because it is very heavy to carry (on the positive side, the family bonds by playing the "How-Long-Can-You-Roll=It-Before-It-Tips-Over" game! I hope the new wheel design helps. The short skinny- We won't be buying another No E2 bag in the future.
