Just curious because I saw that North Central was looking for a new pitching coach...What happened to Coach Allen? Does anyone know where he landed?

I wonder if the death of the young man there last August was a factor. He was a pitcher.

From what I understand, Pat Leach is going to be the new pitching coach at North Central. If so, he'll be a good addition.

My guess is no factor at all in Coach Allen's decision, although it affected everyone on the team and certainly Coach Allen and Coach Harp and nobody will ever forget Josh Fant.

As far as I know, no official announcement has been made about who will be taking on the pitching coach duties at NCTC. Pat Leach still holds a couple single-season pitching records at the school, but he also just finished his first season as an assistant coach at Stetson University in Florida, so not sure he is coming back to Texas.
