More important then looking for a NE college with a rep for winning is looking for a college that has a winning situation for your son. A scout once told me when I started searching for colleges for my son to ask myself a question... If he could not play baseball tomorrow .. Would he still enjoy the college..
I have 2 sons who are going to college in the NE
one is not playin baseball anymore and the other is a freshman on a team doing very well, they are both happy with their choices

The MAAC Conference (D1) Lettle East Conference (D3) Northeast 10 (D2), Atlantic 10 (D1), Patriot (D1)America East (D1) Big East (D1)to name a few conferences with some very fine academic institutions
Given that there are probably a 100+ schools that play college baseball your question is a little bit broad? And what do you define winning as because only 3 teams ultimately "win" at the end of the year, and they usually aren't from New England
