Perhaps the PM will share much more valuable info than my generic response. Northeastern is known for having a high quality D1 baseball program, with a great set of coaches. The school itself is outstanding, and located in one of the better places to go to school.

Having said that, this is a D1 Baseball Program which aims to succeed. I would think to be on the team you would have to figure out how to get your work done on your time and not look for breaks from practices. I would think this would apply to any quality baseball program.

Now if there were a test, or class time for a class that had no other time options, I'd also be willing to bet that the coaches have a standard for dealing with that. Best bet is to speak with the coaching staff.

For the benefit of other readers, RJM may have a better read on the program than I. My review was based on limited exposure to the program via knowledge of the academic excellence, and cursory awareness of the actual baseball program as afforded by on-line review, awareness of their D1 conference, and a friend's son being heavily recruited by them.
My daughter had Northeastern high on her list when she was looking at colleges but she was not an athlete. Unless it's changed, the students are involved in a co-op program they call Experiential Learning. You have the summer off after your freshman year, but after that, it's 6 months of school then 6 months of co-op back and forth until you graduate. She didn't like the idea not having a summer break. I don't know how the co-op would work with a sport but I'm guessing they have a way of working that out. Hope this helps.
