With all due respect........I really dont think that is true at all.

Nick Stevens started some games for them during their playoff run. Cant remember another 10th grader in the lineup (doesnt mean there wasnt I guess). Certainly can't remember 3 others, though.

Either way its semantics. JV records are irrelevant once you get to Varsity. Pretty much none of the top players on Madison or Lake Braddock have ever suited up for a single JV game.

Dan Allen was a starter at shortstop, Nick Stevens in the outfield, Donnie Heuptle as a DH and Connor Tag pitched.

Pulling players up top Varsity early because your program is lacking doesn't make the players better, they just learn to lose better for a longer time.

My point is not with Lake Braddock or Madison, they will be good, although they won't be as great as everyone believes. They play against or with the same players in travel baseball that playeed JV because the high school programs were so loaded with talent. Easy to make the varsity as a freshman or sophmore and play when the upperclassmen aren't that good. Two years ago WSHS had great seniors and juniors so there was no room for freshman and sophmores.
