Some friends have said to be sure to complete the recruit questionnaire on their Web site. Their camps seem to be for the younger kids - we emailed the coach directly with a camp question and got no response.

Also, make sure the player's grades are up to their standard. We have a personal friend whose son had a 4.0 GPA (all honors and AP courses) and a 31 ACT and was turned down. Not an athlete, but the fact remains that NU is really looking for exceptional students who also happen to be athletes.

Good luck!
NOt hard to figure out playing time. Go to the team's stats. Trevor Stevens played a lot last year, and his stats fit in reasonably well with the other players. Maybe a little below par on fielding, but decent offensively, with OBP fitting in well with his teammates. That one can't be fudged much by scoring biases. As always, its not easy if your dad is the coach.
