Have been to Pepperdine (#1) and LMU (#3). I would have no problem agreeing with the Pepperdine ranking.
But LMU? Its ok, but I've been on plenty of campuses I liked a whole lot better.

The highlight of my college baseball career was the trip we made each year to West Point.
Great place to visit and after each game we would join the cadets for dinner in the mess hall. We try to make a football game at the Point during the fall. Great tailgates going on all around campus.

Can't beat USD for beauty. UCSB has a great location but the architecture other than the clocktower is nothing to write home about. UCSC is a stunning campus to be on.
