I believe they are planning to schedule the next certification program for sometime in the middle of summer; however, it's not listed on the website yet.
Tom's certification programs are currently held in Los Angeles at Dedeaux Field on the USC campus, under the auspices of RDRBI (the Rod Dedeaux Research for Baseball Institute) for reasons of compliance with NCAA regs. Functionally, the RDRBI program content and field activities is the same. Having been to both, I'd say Los Angeles and the USC campus is actually a little more convenient for out-of-town visitors than San Diego. The Radisson Mid-Town is a real nice hotel, very close to the field, with a special negotiated rate available (but you have to ask for it). For me, flights are also cheaper into LA than San Diego.
About 200 certified coaches (with personal e-mail contact info) are listed on the NPA web page:
http://www.nationalpitching.net/certified.asp?I'm pretty sure that just about any of these folks would be more than happy to describe the classroom and field activities that go into the certification program in any detail that you want.
