It's an awesome tounrament! I've talked to several D1 Big 12 coaches who have said this is there favorite tournament of the year. Great venue...Everyone plays at the same field...and they don't have to travel 10 states over to watch kids play from there own backyard. Elite players as well.....no riff raff. Top tournament in the southwest all year...not even close!

Looking at Rosters. My money is on Louisiana this year. The LSU boys are very good and the 2014's are some of the best.

Pick Johnson; He was on the first roster I saw, heard he backed out this week due to he has thrown too much this fall already. Also heard a VERY good and well known player got hurt in a football game last Friday and had to back out. Texas roster is hammered.

HSbaseballcoach - Thanks for the kind words...but as usual the New Mexico Team will be less talented than the other teams just do to the population out here. BUT...there's a pretty good chance we will play harder than the other teams. These guys understand where they are from and the lack of respect NM kids usually get. They will have a chip on their shoulder and are excited to play against the "big boys" from these baseball power states.

This also is a great opportunity for them to get seen by some different schools. We had two guys sign with a Texas JUCO out of this last year.

Sorry guys...I won't have Bregman, McCall and O'Dwyer hitting 3-5 for me this year.

NM loses to LA 2-1 giving up 2 in the bottom of 7, 2-0 loss to OK, lost 11-7 to tX after leading 7-4 in the 7th of a nine inning game...**** IT!!!! Ready to get back next year.

Once again, Cade and his staff did a great job along with the guys at Quik Trip especially with all the weather!
