I would bet ODU could get Todd Raleigh cheaper than either Farr or Boothe.
Heard that ODU would not even give Boothe an interview! WHat a shame----
Why interview Boothe is Boothe already said he would not leave his current position?
You know what amazes me here?
All these "I heard", "someone told me" etc..
How is it that everyone has the inside information on what is happening at ODU? Redbird, I can understand since you have close ties with VWC but how does everyone else know what the Athletic Dept is doing? I would think that this type of info is confidential?
Just wondering??

For your information---spoke to Boothe personally and he stated very clearly that he wanted the job at ODU--
For all of you that said nick did not want the job you are dead wrong!

Interesting that with over 5000 hits on this thread...what appears to be an extremely qualified coach has been named and no one has much to say.
I for one am looking forward to seeing what Coach Meyers will bring to the ODU program.

OK, I'll start something ... I think ODU has an excellent chance to be the second-best Division I college baseball team in Norfolk next season.
Depends on who stays and who leaves.
Might be interesting to see what concessions Coach Meyers was able to get from the AD ...ie. the 28 man roster.
Might be interesting to see what coaches and players he will be able to attract. I understand there has already been a purge of assistant coaches.

Coach Meyers...
Congratulations and "Welcome to Virginia".

Can't think that this job is much more than a millstone around some good coach's neck.......
