Well today has been one of those days in baseball for me. I was just off..coudln't hit my spots in bullpen..couldn't hit the ball solid..coudln't do much of anything. Usually I'll come back with a good day though. I was wonderin what some guys do to cope with these off days?

I'm one of those people who analyzes what I did wrong and thinks about it all day.

When I have off days like that, I usually get my CD player and find the loudest CD I can possibly find and go for a run. That usually takes the load off for me. I run until I can't anymore. You just need to find what works for you. On of the guys on my team, he lifts until he can't lift his arms anymore (I don't recommend that one). Basically I would say to do something active until you are at the point of exhaustion and then think about what you did wrong and how to improve it(once you are calmed down and relaxed). When I take a break away from thinking about it and then come back to it later I am usually more "in tune" with what the problem is. Trust me I used to be one of those guys too. After a bad game I ended up thinking about it all day, but that's not good ether. You can't dwell on previous ABs and stuff, just learn form it and move on.
