Anyone have any insight into Ohio Northern's baseball program? Son is being recruited by them.

IF he is interested in the hard sciences or engineering it is a good choice. Quite a few kids from our areea go there since they can get an engineering degree AND play baseball.
They are usually middle of the pack in the OAC. OAC is a tough conference to play in. They are against national contenders every year, such as Marietta, Heidelberg, and Baldwin Wallace. Mount Union can be competitive as well.
Coach Stechschulte has been there for almost 8 years now. In his time as coach he has elevated the team to a regular in the OAC conference tournament. They have not quite broke through to win the tournament though. He can be a task master however his players seem to like him. He has to take a little different approaches dealing with a bunch of Engineering types. He has two regular assistance who have been with him for a while. However the third assistant seems to change often. I am not sure how well he does on getting his players into summer leagues. With so many of them being Engineers, a lot of them are doing summer intern.
Rosters can be on the smaller side for an OAC school. Somewhere between 30-40 the last few years.
Thanks Bishop!

Player Attrition compares Team rosters between two consecutive years (2019 vs 2018). Total number of players that are not on 2019 team roster, Total number of 2018 Freshman that are not on 2019 roster.
