The Oklahoma City Ambassadors are an 18u team that is currently trying to fill out its roster for the 2009 summer season. We play for 8 weeks in the summer and travel all over the country including an end of the summer mission trip to Nicaragua where we will play 7 games against Nicaraguan teams. 19 of our players recieved college scholarships last year in our fisrt year. We are a christian based organization looking for elite baseball players who also have a heart for God.

If you are interested in playing or would like more information you can visit our website at alifeworthfollowing.org or email me at: adriansavedra@hotmail.com

I'm sorry to hi-jack your thread but I had to comment on what a terrific program you are running and how it has impacted our lives.

We've only recently come to know Justin Sullivan and the impact his life and your program has on young players. My son's (Josh) 17U summer team is going to host you guys this summer, for a DH in Burkburnett, then we head your way for another double header. We are looking forward to the games, the fellowship, and an opportunity to hear more about Justin.

Josh has a copy of the journal too!

May GOD Bless and keep you safe, always!

Getting back on task. The Ambassador's are a well run baseball group/ministry. The oppurtunity for exposure/personal growth and baseball skill refining were excellent for our son last summer. He played in a tournament a weekend and on Tuesday Nights and logged over 100+ at bats. The thing that impressed me was the teams decision to make two teams that created more playing time and larger free clinic coverage for aspiring young players. This showed the true colors of a great group that showed winning at all cost wasn't the highest priority. Our son made new friends/brothers from other states that he keeps up with daily. The host families were great and He grew up a lot this summer. The website and available game stats are a good recruiting tool for interested coaches to see and scout.
