Ok I know this is baseball and all and if the moderators want to delete this I won't complain and understand even.
That being said I was just wondering what everyone thought about OK State's football coach and his tirade on a newspaper reporter's column about one of his players.
When I first saw it I thought "Good job - maybe a little overboard but you should stick up for your players". Then I got a little chink in my respect for him because the reporter asked him what 3/4 of the article was made up and he said he didn't have to respond to that. My thoughts are that if you throw a tantrum you better have proof for your side.
Now what gets me is that all the talking heads on TV are not really bashing him but are saying he was wrong. I don't think there can be an unbiased opinion from them. One of their own got attacked and they are taking up for her. I can relate to that but I think it goes to prove that journalists have lost perspective of their job in reporting what goes on instead of creating what goes on.
What do you all think???
