if you're thinking a 28 yr old performing well among 18-20 yr olds is gonna draw pro interest, rethink it

you'd have been eligable for the draft about 10 yrs ago and have had free agent status for some time with no interest by 30 teams, so that should give you some insight

where ya playing? if DI, you and your coach have of course confimed your eligability with the NCAA - - assuming the coach knows of your plans to play for him

good luck

Enjoy playing baseball wherever you can find a place to play. Go ahead and dream about playing professionally.

Don't, I repeat don't let down your family by trying to play professional ball. It isn't going to happen. When I was 17 and playing on an Angel's scout team we had a pitcher who was 26 on the team. He threw a lot of junk, had pinpoint control and not much of a fastball, probably less than 80 mph. He was quite effective pitching against the HS, JC and single A players we typically faced. In fact, he and I combined to beat a professional team out of an independent league one time. He had absolutely no chance of ever signing a contract. Neither did I. Neither do you.

Sorry if this hurts but it is the truth.
