I know that the Indians first round draft choice this year went there so... if you don't want your son winding up in Cleveland - don't send him there

One of the top programs in the country! Very good recruiters and they do a great job of developing talent.
Coaching staff works at it 24/7, academics are stressed, atmosphere and fans are very supportive, program gets lots of exposure playing in one of the most competitive conferences around and non-conference schedule is never a cake walk and most of the players I've seen that went from HS to their program since "B" has been there have gotten better. They won't have the pitching staff they have been accustomed to having in the past, but this staff will do very well collectively in the conference.quote:Originally posted by deldad:

Great school. Lived in Oxford, MS and worked at Ole Miss. 4th college I have been with and there is no comparison to the others. Lived in MS for 45 years- so I know the state and all the colleges. I would go back and may get to someday.
Our family members are Ole Miss fans from way back. Son was heavily recruited by Ole Miss. He opted for Auburn. He played against Ole Miss numerous times. Let me put it this way .... I'm very happy he DIDN'T go to Ole Miss.
