Omaha or bust! I'll mix em', you grill em'!!

I think we had this conversation last year!!!

We're going 6/18-6/22, littlepapi plays at a 14U and we'll try to get to as many CWS games as possible.

I will NOT do standing room only again, will pay the big bucks for real seats.

Shortstopmom and fam will be there 21-27 with an 18U team.
We too are hoping to get to see as many games as possible and will be checking out the zoo, too.

The MOOSE exhibit will be located next to the new ANTEATER habitat. It is not common knowledge but the species are closely related.

Leaving on the 17th as son will be playing in the 16U tournament. We are going to make every CWS game possible. Son went last year with mom and sister. I missed the trip due to work. Not this year. Just me and my son and a lot of baseball. Two more days of work and we are off.

And if it rains and the games are scrubbed you can always visit Father Flanagan's Boys Town and it's museum west of town on Dodge Rd. (US Rt.6). It is a sizable, quality museum that chronicles a great story.

And if you're into military planes check out the Strategic Air Command Museum off I-80 at State Rt. 66 between Omaha and Lincoln. This excellent museum is just west of Mahoney State Park overlooking the Platte River.

Isn't Juanita The Bearded Snake Lady around there too? And I think you forgot the World's Largest Tinfoil Ball. Then there's The Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD, and to the west... the infamous Wall Drug.
