I received a call today from a Dad whose son received an invitation to a showcase and in the invite it said his son had been scouted at the College Select Showcase--

Funny thing !!!!

The boy was not at our showcase --

I am curious if anyone else is getting similar invites--- you can PM or email me at TRhit@msn.com---there is no need to name names on here --that is not my game--I would merely appreciate anyone getting these mailings to notify me in private please---

It is not hearsay as I have a copy of the invite letter in hand

Not an invite, but my son received a letter last year "recently saw you at the Stanford Camp" Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that would be NO. Weird, but maybe it's just a staffing issue
Name get's on a mailing list and the wrong letter goes out.

Not in this case--there are at least two others who got the same letter and they were not at the showcase either

Perhaps a bit of misrepresentation on their part , to say the least

Tom,
Most of the Clippers team received the same invite that said they were seen at College Select. It did not specify showcase. I'm guessing it was in RI that someone was at the games.

Thank You both. Coach M we miss ya here in NY. Fox Lane wasn't the same without "D". Hope your boys are doing well. My son is working hard and he's a good boy. He arrived at the Clemson camp this morning and called to say the first day went well. It's a great experience and we look forward to more this fall. Thanks again Tom.
