Have always enjoyed the creativity of college baseball players, but this one seemed pretty "creative" above and beyond. Some won't like it, but I do. Kinda went viral over the last few days.

Now that is hilarious and what baseball is all about. I've always said baseball players are the funniest athletes.

Baseball players are the funniest athletes because they are weird. I told my team that for whatever reason baseball players are inherently goofy people. You have to be off a little in order to throw a ball at someone with a bat from 60 feet away. You have to be in order to play a game you KNOW you will fail at more times than you succeed, yet come back the next day to fail some more. You have to be because you start creating superstitions for your inadequate prior superstitions. When the game you love so much keeps treating you ever so poorly, nothing left to do but create laughter...

I bet that team feels as if they are a family, not just individual members of a team.
If your sons team doesn't see themselves as family, that is a real shame because that is how it should be and is on most good teams. Of course lots of that has to do with the coaching staff and how they go about taking the i out of the word team and promote the team spirit.
Today the NCAA announced the 64 tourney field.
It used to be, on this site, that there was always discussion afterwards. Seems like there isn't much of that anymore, just stuff like how can I make my 6 year old better and the coach really should be playing my son at his natural position, or the coach should be fired, or parents are bad or someone advertising something.
Thanks JBB, for helping me to remember and letting folks know that college baseball can be a blast, even when there is some BS mixed in, there is really nothing like it, IMO.
