The fact of the matter is not every school is going to know who you are. I myself spent countless hours researching schools and contacting schools, both realistic and unrealistic. The more doors you open for yourself the better chance you have of finding the perfect fit. Dont get concerned with divisions or records, worry about how you will fit. As a player, sit down and email any school that you even have slight interest in. More importantly make sure that you would like to attend the school if all works out. If you show interest chances are they will give you a chance and come and see you. Just never let the pressure or scouts get to you, baseball is a fun game and something that you should love. In the end, not every school will see you but the more schools you contact on your own, the more chances you have.

Also, as you mentioned, don't wait for colleges to contact you. You have to contact coaches and in a sense "sell yourself." You have to show them why you are the best player for their program. One thing I did to get recognized was email every coach that was going to be in attendance at a camp I was at that I was interested in. This way you get your name out. Following that you have to introduce yourself at the camp so they can put a name to a face.

You got it. It is a numbers game. You get what you put into it. This is golden advise for any 2014s or younger out there especially as it related to divisions and pressure. You have to do what is best for you. Good luck!
