Red Oak beat Mesquite Horn 10-0 on a combined no-hitter. Travis Wallis threw the first 3, with Brent Fletcher finishing up the last 2. Red Oak had the bats going through from top to bottom of the order!

Poteet took advantage of a very large strike zone and multiple errors by South Grand Prairie to hold on for a 6-3 victory. Austin Blunt was the one bright spot on the mound for Poteet. Probably a different outcome if this game is played later in the year.

Trinity took advantage of multiple errors by Lamar and built a big lead and never looked back...It was to cold to watch a baseball game.

Forney opened the season with a NO-NO. Forney senior LHP Kyle Jeffrey threw a complete game no hitter in a 6-0 win over Mansfiled Timberview.Forney was led at the plate by senior Josh Eatherly who had 3 RBIs. In the 6th inning Jeffey was helped by spectacular defensive plays by Corey Blackmon and Trevor Mceuen. In the 7th another defensive gem by Eatherly ended the game and sealed the no hitter.

Congrats to KJ, as no matter your opponent last night, the weather was not pitcher-friendly!

FW Western Hills over Joshua 12-11...

LHS 4 FW Arlington Heights 1 it was scoreless up until the 5th for both squads.

Wakeland 1, Grapevine 0. Well pitched and good defense from both teams but... Ridiculously cold!
