Missed son's home opener today, a bummer, 1st time I missed a home game since he was 4 years old in tee-ball.
You have to love Florida- was 27 degrees here in the north.
Played a top rival JUCO, caught well today in 1st official college game, 1-2 line hit to CF and a bases-loaded walk/rbi, is happy.

6-8 or so scouts there. You do not get that many at a lot of northern schools.

That's awesome good luck. Still too cold here in NC for baseball. Although today Sunday will be in the 60s, good baseball weather.
Perusing some box scores this AM I see that a JC freshman I know closed both games of a DH. He was very successful - one hit, one walk, no runs, 7 outs, all by K. But I'm thinking that can't be good for his arm. I hope his coach isn't planning on using him like that every Saturday.
