Last weekend, I had the opportunity to drive 7 hours from Northern California to Orange Coast College and Concordia University.

Ten players on the Tampa Bay Rays scout team are traveling to Australia in December.

This will be the 4th year that we have organized the Rays Scout team to travel Internationally.

On Sunday at Concordia, the Rays played the Yankee Scout team.

There were many very good and talented players on both teams.

I was impressed with the talent level and the maturity of the players
and the coaching by the pro scouts.

Each day, there were 7-8 college coaches and 12 pro scouts attending the 18 inning games. Many of whom I have known from my time with the Area Code games.
