better as in developing your kid or better as in winning tournaments? we know what the PC answer is, now what is it you are really looking for. lots of mediocre teams, that will develop your kid, you want to go somewhere and win some tournaments and get your kid some exposure well then you do need to hunt. If your kid is THAT good trust me they will find you "and fly you in"..

just some good advice

No sensitivity hear. I could care less since we don't compete with the Chicago teams for players since we are 300 miles south. Your telling me to get thick skin but you kind of threw a little fit when PBR wrote something on his website and this one. Sounds like you should adhere to your own advice. Just get more info about other teams before you start giving good advice.

Very good advice! Make sure it is a good "fit" for both your son and the team you are interested in. In saying that the Sparks are a great organization that is respected in the baseball community. If you have a chance to play for them I would do so with no hesitation.
With regards to outstanding programs, each program mentioned here in this thread, while similar, offer kids different experiences due to schedules, practice facilities etc. Instead of suggesting that there are few outstanding programs, I'd suggest that there are many programs that are outstanding. For the record, I've sent many of my players to SIBullets. In fact, this year I sent 3. They represent Southern Illinois with class and are the equal of any program when it comes to coaching and doing what is right for kids.
In the immortal words of Rodney King, "Geez, guys, can't we all get along?" He said that right after he said, "Ow, stop hitting me!"

All I really wanted was some objective opinions on people's experience with one particular program. I know everyone thinks theirs is the best.

Let me retract my question, I've already made my decision and let's move on.

Like Seinfeld's black and white cookie, let's all strive for racial and baseball program harmony!
