Here's an interesting tidbit I read this morning that I thought would be of interest to this board.
"Alex Rodriguez went 0-for-2 with an intentional walk and HBP in Thursday's game against the Royals, remaining stuck on 499 homers. He will be on deck when the Yankees resume a suspended game Friday in the eighth inning. If he homers in the resumed game, Wednesday night's HR would become his 500th (the HR in the suspended game would be No. 493)."
I guess it makes sense, but it's not something I would have ever known off the top of my head.
