I like how almost one-third of the 18u teams don't even play at OU... at the OU Invitational. You should probably just change the name to the State of Oklahoma Invitational...

Not sure what you are looking at...
25 of the 30 17/18 yr olds are playing at OU and 15 of the 22 games at OU involve 17/18 teams.
Looks to be a good tournament.
None of my teams have a scheduled game there
There are some other college fields being used. OK City Univ was one, but it was taken off last night. Still good for a couple of my seniors who havent signed yet to get to play in front of those schools.

Oklahoma Christian has VERY nice facilities.
So does UCO.
My son's team played at UCO last weekend and loved the place. We will probably going back to check the school out.
The first 20 paid teams are guaranteed a game at OU. To even play on other college venues is a bonus in my opinion.
Fun weekend; good venues.
Worst tournament organization I have seen in years. they where all about the money period. Rained out a few games on Thursday and rather than do make ups(plenty of open fields) they canceled the championships on Sunday. By the way our team was undefeated so no sour grapes. Also I assume the black sox are this organizations teams as they all played at OU regardless of age.
Throw n BB's- arent u the same guy who coached with a bluetooth in ur ear and wore a wristband? same guy/team who got DQ'd for not showing up to a game? Same guy that was trying to steal a player from TxSports right after a game last week? I bet the Dbat guys are proud of u! little leaguers are interested in trophies. stay hot buddy!

A little personal isn't it?
What does wearing a bluetooth or a wristband have to do with anything? Especially how a tournament is run.
If someone feels cheated about a tournament, we should all know about. We are paying for these things. If others have diff opinion we should hear that too.
The only way we get a good product is to share information and then take our money to the best run events year after year.

50 + teams. Lost 14-15 games due to rain out. All rain out games were made up. Everyone got their 4 games in except for the no-show. I saw OU, OSU, Oral Roberts, Wichita State, Nebraska, Dallas Baptist, NY Mets and Cleveland Indians, plus several D2 schools and JC coaches at various ballparks. I know of 2 kids who were offered scholarships from OU and Nebraska. I would have to say that is a pretty darn good weekend.
We played the week before at the OSU tournament. They lost several games to rain as well. These guys still got everyones games in. Looks like they are willing to put in the work to make sure these kids go home with a good experience. Competition has been good. Venues have been good. Exposure has been good. I think it's a breath of fresh air in our area.

from all accounts, OU was a better experience and a better product (tournament) than the OSU experience. Believe Rice will be even better.
bucket- good info - what age division your team playing.

Hey Rock Dad, if we have an opinion about Rockwall/Rockwall Heath baseball be it positive or negative, I guess thats okay too, according to your rules. Difference of opinion is then okay? Don't be crying when someone thinks differently than you, even though it might hit close to home. "Sharing information is the only way to get a good product". I will remember that.

Luv I don't get what you're talking about. Yes that's ok - have whatever opinion you want on Rockwall baseball or anything else. Diff than mine, great. If we all agree that's boring. Not sure what you say I'm crying about. If you don't like someone wearing a bluetooth or wristband fine I don't give a ****. My point was that BB's was complaining about how the tournament was run and a coaches clothing accessories has nothing to do with his experience at the tournament. And why is any of this "close to home?" I wasn't at the tournament. Don't know who was wearing a bluetooth or who BB's is.
