Ouch!

Problem is Curtis signed a 3 yr. extension last year and they don't have enough money to get rid of him and get another coach. Also, I hear that the team is basically going to start over. Not many guys are coming/asked back. A select few will return. Again this is coming from a players mouth so it could be just talk but that is what the kid is hearing. Lots of openings for any of you looking for a D1 chance with a pretty good history.

I thought Curtis was suppose to be a fairly good coach...have heard good things about him...

Nevermind, I missunderstood you. I thought you meant lots of coaching openings.

What will happen to the no. of scholarships/games?

They have/will lose 10% of the scholarships due to the house cleaning that took place a few years ago.

If they clean house again they will be penalized even more. Can the administration afford to keep the coach with the new APR rules in place. If you clean house every few years it can't always be the players fault. Don't know the situation fisrt hand but just know that players sure come and go allot.

I'm afraid UTA may be in trouble for a while.

From playing in the CWS tournament in Austin last year to winning only 13 games (3 in SLC), what happened?

Did they graduate alot of talent or was it something else?

For a school that does not play football, baseball should be high priority at the D1 level.
