I'm jumping in a little late on this one , but how about a small DIII school in western Pennsylvania bringing in 43 freshmen for a team that only graduated 2 seniors?
No over recuiting there huh?

That information was available to the 43 freshman when they made their decisions to attend the school in the first place, at least the fact that there were only two seniors on last year's squad.
That would be correct but when the question was asked about the limited number of spots available the coach said not to worry about that as he has some kids quit every year due to lack of playing time or the need to spend more time accademically, or by bring hurt or accademically inelegable.
Also when asked about the size of the recuiting class where told that they never know how many will show up until they get there.

That is true at most colleges. You don't know until they show up. Every year it is different aswell. One year they have an lot and the next they don't.
Still think the coach could have been a little more honest about the size of the recuiting class , he does know how many where invited and how many positive responses and visits he has gotten.
Not asking for a number or anything but he could have said it looks like a large recruiting class or something like that.

Here's a link to an interesting sotry on the number of recruits being brought into the top schools. Wonder where they are all going to fit given the new roster size cap.
