I have a players who went to a D1 camp for hitting and was told to work on both of these items. Any suggestions on how t owork on both??

Set up your L-Screen close (25') and underhand the ball (with some juice on it) working the middle to outer part of the plate to off the plate.
Have your hitter drive the ball opposite field trying to hit sharp line drives between the foul line and half way up the baseline between 1st and 2nd.
He will need to let the ball get deep in order to do this effectively, and he will not be able to over rotate and do this effecively.

Sounds like these are bad (not helpful) cues for an underlying problem. Like not tilting, or starting your front hip too early.
