Oldbat -- thank you for the kind words -- what better things for a parent to hear?

Mike is a great kid and is blessed to have a friend like Josh (and his wonderful family).

Despite the challenges you all are facing with a new coach at Marcus -- I think your parents & fans are a class act -- win or lose.

Yes,the program has changed and most of our boys are getting bigger, stronger and more confident with this change.

As we all know there is always an adjustment period with change in staff/programs, luckily my son and others have adjusted well with the change. Issue here is his personal slump at the plate and that has him perplexed (all that work hasn't paid off yet) but we know acknowledging a problem is the first step to correcting a problem. The next step is fixing the problem.... as I told him yesterday a 1,000 reps of sh-- is still sh--. MECHANICS are key at the plate and on the mound.....

Good luck to you and your younger son this year. Josh and Mike seem to have it all together for such young men, hopefully I can say the same about mine in the years to come...and hopefully he will have buddies w/families as good as these guys have it...that offer their extension of love/support.

Hopefully we will see more of Mike and Josh this summer......... Good luck to all of them this baseball season and hopefully we will get out of this nasty COLD weather, I am tired of dressing as Nanuck of the North just to watch a ballgame......

That shot and getting to bed before 3am in the morning would help matters. Too wired after the game last night I guess, you know that cross town rivalery and seeing so many old friends.

First time in a slump for the kid so we are learning how to "deal" with it and what is the saying "this too shall pass"..............just glad it isn't senior year.

How are things in Keller Country? Hopefully things are going well for all of you.

Things are going well here. Nicholas broke out of his slump, just a couple of games too late. He is enjoying the playing time, but wishes he was still up with his friends on Varsity.

We are coming to the Lewisville/Marcus Game on Thursday it looks like, so we will see you there.

I will be at JV for sure and probably Var. as well, will be looking for you. Will Josh be pitching for Lewisville? What a season he is having.

And glad that the slump is over and you know this game he could be moved up again just as fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Josh isn't pitching in District games, but playing Right, SS and Catcher.

Last I heard, he is close to the top on his team in RBI's.
