high school ball at St. Rita, CHicago, Illinois; college at Illinois Benedictine; and, 2 years of pro ball in the Braves organization.

Older son played at Oak Park River Forest; Mississippi State; and, pro ball in the Mets organization.

Younger son is better (bigger, stronger, faster) than both of us "older" people. He'll play his senior year at Lincoln Way East and then on to Princeton, Class of 2008.

12 year old lefthander on the way...He has a "wrong-armers" attitude.
StCharles, I coached with Bill my first year there and I enjoyed coaching with him very much. Bill was the asst varsity coach but resigned after that year to pursue other interests. I believe he still gives hitting lessons and from time to time comes out to see a game. I heard he was quite a player and if I'm not mistaken may have led the nation in doubles while in college.
