The duo of pitchers from India made it onto the national stage tonight, at least the national news. Apparently they were discovered on a game show called "The Million Dollar Arm" and thereby got an invite to Pirates spring training. Tom House was tasked with teaching the former javelin chuckers, and they even have a blog. I wish them, um... svastika (good luck).

I'm just tired of all these **** reality shows and contests. Do we really need to go to India to find some kids who can't spell baseball let alone even play and give them the chance of a lifetime??? i'm fairly certain that there are plenty of baseball players that would love to be given professional instruction on a daily basis with a tryout at the end?!?!?!?!?
