Under the circumstances (see article), am I out of line to consider asking for a pay increase for my on-the-field duties?

Been here 13 years and this is definitely the most nervous I've been........not a nervous soldier, btw, just a DoD/CIV guy trying to make a buck and raise a family!

If it were me and my family, even though I think the North is playing bully, we'd prepare to move back to the US.

I think they are hungry. Maybe you could make sammiches and iced tea? It's what we do in this South.
