First of all, I tip my hat to all that provide such a wealth of information here.

I have read that it is not uncommon for Junior Colleges to stack the fall rosters and have big cuts in the spring. It has been mentioned that you can tell a level of interest by the amount of scholarship offer. For example, books or $900 could be considered bones. At what percent level of an offer (or dollar amount) would you have a good feeling about your chances of making the cut in the spring, provided of course you give 150% effort during the fall?

Thanks in advance.

I dont live in Texas,California JC's do not offer scholarships. So everyone is in the same boat,But still in the conference my son played in last year there were over 100 kids in the Fall.Somewhat typical of Junior colleges, becasue easy to walk on without a lot of money invested.
Lots of players give 150% in the Fall and it sill can not be enough.
