Just for clarification…

Our staff has been calling kids for 17 years. The majority of kids/parents that are called are those that have requested invitations to certain events.

Obviously we only call those who are entered into our database. It is a very large database, the largest. We have several staff members who make these calls and if any of them were too pushy, dishonest, or impolite, I would like to know about it.

Of course, we do want to fill all our events and we usually do. Most players sign up without a phone call being made, but we sometimes even call them to update their information in our database. Our hope is to learn something new about the player. After all, our business revolves around knowing as much as possible about the players whether they choose to attend a PG event or not.

We understand that many are affected by the economy these days, but (knock on wood) PG has continued to have record sales each year, including last year, and we are far ahead of last year during the first quarter of this year.

All that said, we are a business and just like any other business we rely on making a profit. However, we are most interested in doing things the right way. I’ve been told that most people are glad that we called them. Of course, we can’t call everyone we would like to talk to.

So, once again, if anyone ever has a complaint about any PG employee, I would be very interested in hearing about it. The last thing we want to do is be a pest.

It’s just that many do not understand how important it can be to be identified on a larger than local or regional scale. Some know very little about PG and how it works. Luckily, there are also many others who have found out over the years.
