I guess too it's depending on how much HS usage on arm. Son's (position player) coach wanted then to play in summer (no specific league designated), but key was to arrive at campus healthy. Workout routines/goals given upon arrival. And also for what it's worth, son has noticed that players from his summer leagues who did not get much PT during season at college, struggled to hit in summer league.
