IMO, East Cobb is enough...He will get seen by plenty of people and it may lead to other invitations.

As an '06, why is he not playing in 17U or 18U WWBA?
16U team seems too young for an '06.

Because he is a 9/16/88 and a year ahead in school -decision made in kindergarten nothing to do with sports -his summer team is mostly 07's thats why I am trying to expose him in more showcases if needed -Ive decided to put him in the Academic Showcase instead since he qualifies-PG actually stated that they will have more colleges there then at Sunshine East-
Also got invite to Diamond Kings -read last years posts-sounds promissing any ideas??

IMO, once you go to a PG event, there's not much need in doing others...PG does an excellent job of evaluating & "spreading the news"! Very credible!!

I have the same problem as your son msdoc. i also got invited to the sunshine east but i cannot attend due to commitments to my team but i am also attending a pg showcase in august so i guess it will make up for it.

My son went to both events last yr. Let me say that both events were really good - alot of scouts at both (from what I remember). I think one of the keys is getting to the PG Nationals from one of these 2 events. The level of competition seemed a little bit better at the East vs the Academic. PG will take more from the East/West events for their National event. The Academic is after the East and there may not be as many openings for their National showcase event.

In any event - just one more factor to consider. Both events; however, are very good.
