I have got an idea! Let's wait until someone plays a game, then decide who should or should not be on this list.

That's why they play the game!

It is incredible to me to say someone should or shouldn't be on a list or poll. Let's tap those brakes a bit and see how it shakes out. there is always someone that thinks their team is being omitted and we haven't even seen results of any games.

Just my humble opinion.

I agree with JB, its much more important where you finish in May than where you start in February.
PGStaff -- I think you've been called a few things around these parts -- but never ignorant. Big Grin Thanks for the clarification.

TRHIT -- what do you all talk about in the northeast when the snow reminds you that baseball is weeks (rather than days) away?

Discussions on polls, rankings, etc. are always popular or there wouldn't be so many lists. We're all doing ok with it --- and I think we have the right perspective on "the game".
After seeing both FM and Coppell in scrimages, I would say that Coppell should be as high or higher than FM.

I haven't seen Southlake play yet, but I don't know if they are deserving of such a high spot. But Coach Hughes always knows how to get the best out of his athletes.

I also wonder why McKinney North isn't on the list...they should be tough this year.

We have ponds in Texas bigger than the entire state of Connecticut. And for your information, the largest pine forest in the world (outside of Russia) is in East Texas. Our sand box and cactus planter may be big, but so is our coast and our forest. Jes a lil' education for you.

Take issue with our armadillos and they might just whip you...

I have often heard folks in Texas referred to as friendly, but I can't say that I ever heard anyone accuse a Connecticut yankee of that...

"Drive 90 and freeze a yankee"

Fire up the grill and grab the fork, FO.

Do you want the Connecticut Yankee dry rub or the Connecticut Yankee sauce?

I'm out of both and will need to fix some.

The sauce takes longer to simmer.

You gonna join me in Lubbock anytime?

The swingdoctor might come out.

Swingdoctor is the Chef Tel of Connecticut Yankee Beer Can Chicken.

On the Connecticut Yankee version, he drinks the beer prior to chicken violation.

Says, the Connecticut Yankee recipe is too dry, but after cooking about a six pack of the chickens, he didn't give a rip anyway.

Speaking of rip, the doc says he also has a new recipe for his famous Connecticut Yankee tailgate smoked BBQ beans.

Same as the old Blue Flame recipe, just add another five pounds of beans and some hot air.

"Highland Park in the top 25? A top 25 team that can't win district? And usually don't make it past the first round of the playoffs."

WOW!!! You've just made one of the most ridiculous comments any of these boards have ever seen. Have you been around Texas HS baseball at all? If you have you know year and and year out HP is one of the top 4A programs in the state. That's like saying Arlington Heights or Corpus Christi Calallen isn't worthy of being a "Top 25" Texas team. Don't pop off about things that you have no idea about!
Hey....EDGE --Anyone that follows HS baseball knows HP has a great program and is TOPS! I saw a good lefty by the name of Taylor Lee a year ago...how is he doing?

TC...Thank you for your help with our lefty at CHHS who just got his first Varsity win and HR at his second at bat this past weekend. The EDGE is developing alot of great ballplayers in this area. Thanks for giving back to the game!
It is pretty obvious at this point that PG should stick to showcases and stay away from polling teams they don't have a clue about. The Cy-Fair Bobcats were Region 3 finalists last year, and are Region 3 Champions this year. Fair beat numerous teams on this list, and beat Langham twice. I did see Midland Lee on the list so PG did not go 0 fer, but pretty close. BFND Baby.......
