My son got a invite yesterday and we have been to several showcases, just wondering if this is a must goto event and any past experiences.

Not sure what you would call a "must go to" event but it's the best off-season showcase there is and it is highly attended by pro scouts. Wouldn't be surprised if there were 50 or more there.

I just got an invite in the mail today and I'm wondering whether it's worth going. I'm a 2011 grad committed to an "academic" D1 and I don't think I would consider going pro if I were drafted out of HS. Would it be worth it to attend just to get some first time exposure to pro scouts, since I am hoping to get drafted out of college a few years down the road?
I am also curious if anyone has been to this event in the past. My son did not attend WWBA in Jupiter and instead will be attending this event in Jan.

The World Showcase resulted in a significant scholarship offers for my son as well as pro exposure. One of the best!

We will be attending this event as well, this is our 3rd trip to Ft.Myers (1) showcase and (1) tourney so far. PG puts on a awsome event, my son enjoys the environment.
