The PG/EC invite is a team tournament, it is different from the PG showcases.  Blogs will be written but no reports will be written on players.  It isn't a huge tournament but most of the top teams will be there so the competition will be very very good.

Answer for playball2011:

My son has strong academics and is a "follow" on PG profile. I am scheduling the Academic Showcase the week before in Fort Myers, Fla to cover the showcase end. There were a few schools that have sent him emails which were updates on their programs and asked him to update them as well with high school season and summer schedules. Some of these schools are back East. Hopefully the "follow" will get some attention at these events.

As for my son Jr. 2015, its both local and around the horn..if some coach out there see's what he likes in my son.. then very good chance he might go that route.

if at a showcase or PG in ATL.. you get offers, phone calls, etc you got to follow your interest... baseball...

thanks,

Joe

The WWBA is the bigger event with more scouts.  Does your son want to go to school in the east?  My son went for two seasons to Ft. Myers BCS, WWBA and one year to the EC invitational.  Contact after the event came from every SEC school, but no one west of the SEC.  It's a great event and really good baseball just know he has a better chance being seen by west coast schools at events in the west.
