Awhile back someone asked about PG Grades at Showcases. A post was made that claimed if you don't score well the first time you are basically done. I couldn't find that old thread, so thought I would post this. Maybe it will help answer some of the questions people have.
Rafael Lopez debuted in the Major Leagues with the Cubs this year. The first time we saw him he was a very young middle infielder in 2003. We graded him a 5.5 at the time. over the next 4 years he continued to raise his grade.
Here is a link to his profile. Scroll down to the bottom (first event) and read the reports and grades as he got older. He actually ended up being a catcher and that surely helped him get to the Big Leagues.
