This is probably no big deal but, thought I'd ask since this is a message-blog board. My son has only really played in one PG tourney so far (got a couple of at-bats at another). I say really because coaches keep putting him on rosters with the hope my son will participate with their team. So, on his profile, it looks as if he has now participated in 4 tournaments yet, only made the all-tournament team once. When actually, he really only participated in one. Will this reflect on how he is evaluated?

My guess is no. I personally know many players that have been placed on rosters who have ended up not playing for one reason or another. So, their profiles reflect a tournaments that they never attended. I could be wrong but I don't think scouts look at that one bit. They look at on field performance, and maybe will check with PGs ranking and speak to others whose opinions they value. I wouldn't be concerned. I'm sure PG Staff could provide better info.
