Is anyone going to this event in the Fall? I will be playing and am wondering what the facilities are like, competition level, etc...?

the facilities will be spread out all over but all are high quality, the competition will range from average to outstanding depending on the opponent and your team. There will be scouts and recruiters all over the place, it is a top notch event.

Facilities, my son did the BCS in Ft. Myers last summer, my information is based off of that.
They have several fields available. A normal baseball park for me is several fields connected by concrete, with a concession stand and bathrooms in the center. The parks in Ft. Myers were "normal". My son thought he would be playing IN the Red Sox MiLB stadium, or IN the Tampa Bay Rays MiLB stadium, he didn't, he played on dirt fields behind the stadiums, which were well maintained, but tell your parents to bring chairs with canopies...very little shade.
The food was amazing in most of the parks, especially Jet Blue. PG contracted over the summer with a Juco Stadium and that was an AMAZING field, but it was 90+ degrees and they had no concession stand, so that was a bummer. Look at the website often, if there is a post that says "Coolers are allowed in XXXX stadium" that means the concession stand is closed, bring your own water.
The competition was OUTSTANDING, the officials were OUTSTANDING, and overall it was a great experience. I just took a look at the teams coming and I don't think competition will be an issue, LOL!
