Phiten Necklaces???

If you are a HS player in a HS game under NFHS rules then you cannot wear it by rule. So in that case the scouts wouldn't see it.

Why would a college or pro scout care?

College coaches and pro scouts only care if you can ball or not. I think for all they care, you can wear pink polka-dots if you want...so long as nothing you wear is detrimental to your character/makeup.

If you're good enough you can do what you want. There was a softball pitcher at Cal a few years ago who used to make herself up like a Goth when she pitched. She put purple streaks in her hair and wore a purple mouthpiece. There weren't any rules against it. She was one of the top pitchers in the country. Her "makeup" put her in an intimidating mood.
