OH Wow.....

We've got the HSBBW version of the dating game going on here! THAT should get us through the winter Cool Good Luck Orlando and Grateful greenjump

I don't like the fence either and I don't like to chatduring the game. I sat with catchermom03 at one of my son's games she made it to and I think I will rz1 and I make a better match and we should probably swap over gotwood to catchermom...LOL

Funny you should mention the monster seats...The last time the Blue Jays came in to Boston was around my husband's birthday. I wanted to treat him to a better seat than what the "will call" window and players families accomodations provides. So, we found 4 front row monster seats for us two and my sister and her husband. They were $625.00 each! Eek

When I looked at the same seats for the last series of the season...those 4 seats went up because it was the Yankees to $1725.00 a seat.

Stunning, huh?
We opted for a field box near the visiting on deck circle. Thought the four of us out there would really distract Manny 08

I too like the 3rd base dugout top row for a few other reasons other than Bee's very good start.....
I'll join...if I can have a pair of binoculars too....sounds like fun. Fenway, right?.....That way TR will be with us too....many sections apart....but we have the binoculars.

Lafmom....I think you should sit with Grateful....and we'll let Orlando sit with GotWood....

Grateful.....he is the better half, but don't tell him I said so.....and when I sent my son off to college.....my chaperoning days ended!

Tiger Paw Mom:

If its a night game I hope you don't mind me being in my jammies...at my age I'm good through the fifth or sixth before the snoring commences...where is that duct tape?

I've never seen a seventh inning stretch at night...are they as cool as everyone talks about?

Maybe if you sprinkled a little No-Doz on my Dippin' Dots I could finally see what this stretch thing is all about...at the very least you wouldn't have to hear me snore!

Hey!... PAmom...those Nachos are mine...hands off! Hands off I say! What's wrong ...you can't read lips?!

laugh
If it my son's game, I stay away from the parents, most of the time. I don't want to come off like a stuck up. Anyway, it depends where they are playing. Some places the right field fence is a good spot. Others, maybe in the stands or near the dugout. At our home games I like to sit outside the fence behind homeplate.

If I were at Cincinnati or any other ballpark, it would have to be in the outfield stands. Never know when you may catch a HR ball.

Just a side note, if you can, go walk out into the outfield. You'll appreciate what our boys do.
If its' a big league game, I'll take the front row at Pacific Bell Park, just a few seats past the visitors dugout. You're only 50 feet from the first base bag. I occasionally buy these seats from a guy I know (I pay way too much for them), and was sitting there with my son and another kid who plays summer ball with us when Barry hit his 500th. That was an electric baseball moment!

If its my team in summer ball, my only seat is in the dugout, preferably leaning on the rail.
