Looking forward to seeing these in game action...and which players continue to use them after a good performance!
Okay, I'm all for a cure for cancer, of all types. Cancer claimed my dad and biggest fan when I was younger.
Having said that, I draw the line at pink bats. Come on, pink bats? In baseball? PC run amok? Geesh, why not earrings..oh wait, they already wear those.
Take up a collection for the American Cancer Society, do all sorts of promos to heighten awareness, but please, no pink bats in baseball.

I would imagine that if you were to get a broken one it would be a collectors item. I read in an article this morning that Jack Wilson is going to use one. I think the other pirate they said was Jason Bay but I'm not 100% sure.

Why not? - its for a great cause.
It is certainly alot better than putting advertisements on the top of the bases so some *****s can make some more money on advertising some **** product.
I hope the "pink" thing raises alot of money for a great cause!

It's not that far a step from the St. Patrick's Day tradition at ST: shamrock covered bases and green foul lines. Even being of Irish heritage that was a little surreal the first time I saw it.
Whether for a disaster or medical research, it strikes me as out of kilter when multimillionaire athletes or entertainers "donate" time or gimmicks to encourage folk to donate without commensurate donations of their own.

It was really a great moment today when Bill Hall of the Brewers, hit a walk off home run in extra innings against the Mets, using a PINK bat, with his mom in the stands to see it! Happy Mother's Day!
Did many of the teams wear the pink bands today? I only saw the Cardinals/Diamondbacks game and the Cardinals were wearing them, but the Diamondbacks were not. Also, a few of them did use the pink bats. I'll tell you what-- Spiezo for the Cardinals with his red goate and pink bat was interesting
Personally I think it was a great way to raise awareness regarding breast cancer
Glad the Rangers were rained out at Fenway yesterday and spared us having to watch our hometown heroes swinging pink. We are still recovering from having to watch them wearing jerseys that sported 'Los Rangers' for cinco de mayo.
