Evidently they have stopped. The Bucs are ahead of only KC, TB, and the FL in attendance, and that's with a beautiful new ballpark. Does it really take a stunt like this to get a sellout?

A few years back a group calling themselves The Faction hired a plane to fly a banner over the ST field of the Cardinals --- said 'Save Our Cardinals - Fire Tony LaRussa'.

Baseball fans....a militant lot.

And The Faction got ripped off! Even though he had been given the green light by the tower, they found the pilot asleep, stalled at the end of the runway, with his foot on the brake!

Actually, later in that article it says that the Pirates have granted press credentials for several local TV stations on that day. They just aren't allowed to broadcast live any of the action on the field, and it sounds like they intend to at least show footage of this event on their nightly news.

I'd imagine before too long that ESPN and all the national news networks will get ahold of it, if it's as massive a walkout as expected.

Apparently not a massive show of force, and if there was national coverage I missed it. Some funny t-shirts though.

It appears that rally was at a place called Hi-Tops, I love that place! Right across from the ballpark, was there last football season, and got to witness firsthand the "madness" of Steeler fans. It was real cool.
