The Pirates traded starting pitcher Zach Duke to the Arizona Diamondbacks for a player to be named later, the team announced Wednesday.
Duke was 8-15 with a 5.72 ERA in 2010. The Pirates designated him for assignment on Friday.
I have enjoyed watching Zach over the years and I wish him the best with his new team. hopefully they will give him some more run support...
Zach (one of our HSBBW alum) was a consumate professional and all around good guy to have on the club, best of luck and best wishes to Zach and OPP!
