The 2009 Pitch & Hit Club of Chicago presented by Playball USA will take place October 3rd at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Illinois. Approximately 50 selected players have been invited (FREE OF CHARGE) to this year's event. Player check in is at 7:45 a.m. above the first base gate with the "What we look for" presentation provided by former MLB player and current Kansas City Royals scout, Hal Morris beginning at 8:30 a.m. The workout will begin at 9:00 a.m with the 12 inning game between Team Do It Right Baseball vs. Team Amateur Baseball Report at 11:00 a.m. A current list of players who are attending is available via our website P&H Showcase List

My son is a sophomore. I understand that these young men are the elite players of the area...but how do they get the invitations ?
