My son asked for one for Christmas (and wife has ordered it). Anyone use these? I know the necklaces are popular, but he wanted the sleeve.

Opp-een-yawns?

Krakatoa, were having a discussion about the titanium necklaces in another forum,..( ask the umpire )
I'm trying to get some answers myself about this relatively new phenom. I was hoping to hear from people who actually wear them. Some old timers have been calling them " snake oil " & says theres not much to em'. I'm just as curious about the titanium sleeve. It seems were all on the hunt this time of year for Xmas gifts and I sure dont want to throw my mool-ah out the window for no reason. The last time I checked ( & I keep checking regularly ) there wasn't a money tree growing in my backyard,...
darn it!

Krak,
I agree on the motivational effect of “things”. Whenever I would buy new batting gloves, bats, balls, and other baseball items, I would always see increased activity in my son’s baseball training. I recall having a St. Christopher’s medal in my younger days. While I’m not Catholic, just having the patron saint of travel dangling from my keychain seemed to make me feel a little safer whenever broke the speed limit. I still got ticketed but I think it was made of pewter. Smile

We've had a few discussions before about Phiten necklaces and bracelets and whether they do anything or not. My sons have both worn the necklaces for a few years and like them so I decided to try the bracelet. I have a very painful wrist from an old ski injury (probably now rheumatism) and wondered if the bracelet may help. My mother always wore a copper bracelet and swore by it. Anyway, when I wear the phiten the pain is gone and when I take it off the pain returns. Who knows - maybe its all in the mind, but I like the bracelet!!
